Individual Therapy

The standard fee for an individual therapy session is: $185 per session

Sliding-scale rates may be available from: $145–$185 per session

Sliding-scale availability is determined individually and is not guaranteed. The agreed fee will be confirmed before services begin or before a reduced rate is applied.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy fees generally range from: $225–$300 per session

A sliding-scale rate beginning at $200 per session may be available based on the circumstances, session structure, and availability.

The specific rate, session length, treatment structure, and payment responsibility will be discussed and agreed upon before services begin.

Coaching and Consulting

Coaching and consulting fees are determined according to the service requested, session length, level of support, and agreed service plan.

The fee will be discussed during the consultation and confirmed before coaching or consulting services begin.

Coaching is:

Not psychotherapy or mental-health treatment
Not a substitute for therapy
Not used to diagnose or treat a mental-health condition
Not billed to health insurance
Not eligible for insurance reimbursement or a superbill

Coaching may be available to individuals located in any state or jurisdiction where the service can legally and ethically be provided. Availability is determined after reviewing the person’s location, needs, goals, and the nature of the requested service.

Insurance and Client Responsibility

Insurance coverage depends on the client’s health plan, benefits, diagnosis, medical necessity requirements, deductible, copayment, coinsurance, and the insurance company’s processing decision.

Verification of benefits does not guarantee that an insurance company will pay a claim.

Clients are responsible for:

Copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance
Services not covered by insurance
Claims denied or assigned to the client
Private-pay services
Coaching and consulting services
Other balances identified in the client’s financial agreement

Couples services are not automatically covered by insurance. Client is 100% responsible for the any and all fees and services related to service received under the banner or understanding relationhsip or couples therapy.

Payment Links

A payment made through a payment link will be applied to the established client’s session fee, agreed sliding-scale amount, coaching fee, consultation fee, or outstanding account balance.

The amount shown on a specific payment link may reflect a previously agreed rate and may differ from the standard fees listed on this page.

Therapy Service Locations

Therapy is provided only when the client is physically located in a state where the clinician holds an active license or other lawful authorization to practice.

Tony Hunt Counseling & Consulting, PLLC currently provides therapy to eligible clients physically located in:

RUS (Rest of the U.S., Coaching only)

The client must disclose their physical location at the beginning of each telehealth session.

A permanent residence in one of these states does not authorize therapy when the client is physically located somewhere else during the appointment.

Consultation and Service Acceptance

A consultation may be required before beginning therapy, couples services, coaching, consulting, or another requested service.

During the consultation, the following may be reviewed:

The person’s needs and goals
The requested service
Clinical or coaching appropriateness
The clinician’s scope of practice and competence
Scheduling and availability
Fees and financial feasibility
Insurance or private-pay arrangements
The client’s physical location
Legal and licensing requirements
Ethical considerations
Technology and telehealth requirements
Whether the requested professional relationship can be appropriately established

Services will be offered only when the proposed arrangement is legally permissible, ethically appropriate, professionally suitable, financially workable, and technically feasible.

A consultation does not guarantee that services will be accepted. When the requested service is not appropriate or cannot legally or ethically be provided, the person may be offered alternative options or referrals when reasonably available.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Cancellation, rescheduling, and missed-appointment charges are governed by the financial agreement and practice policies accepted by the client.

Insurance companies generally do not pay cancellation or missed-appointment fees. When a fee applies, it is the client’s responsibility.

Refunds and Payment Errors

Payments are applied to the service or account balance identified at the time of payment.

Duplicate payments, incorrect amounts, or suspected payment errors should be reported promptly by calling 469-809-4584.

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method when reasonably possible. Refunds are not guaranteed for services already provided.

Privacy

Do not place diagnoses, symptoms, treatment details, or other sensitive health information in payment notes or optional payment fields.

Payment and billing information will be handled according to applicable privacy requirements and the Notice of Privacy Practices of Tony Hunt Counseling & Consulting, PLLC.

Emergencies

This payment page is not monitored for emergencies and should not be used to request urgent clinical assistance.

Acceptance

By submitting payment, the payer acknowledges that:

Good Faith Estimates

Clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance may have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for scheduled therapy services.

A Good Faith Estimate may be provided when services are scheduled or upon request. It is an estimate and may change if the frequency, duration, type, or scope of services changes.

Federal law may allow a client to dispute a bill when the final charges are substantially higher than the Good Faith Estimate provided.

Authorization to Process Payment

By submitting payment through this page, the payer authorizes Tony Hunt Counseling & Consulting, PLLC and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method for the amount displayed.

The payer confirms that:

They are authorized to use the payment method.
The billing information entered is accurate.
The payment may be applied to the client’s session fee or outstanding balance.

Third-Party Payments

A parent, spouse, family member, employer, or other authorized person may make a payment on behalf of a client.

Making a payment does not:

Make the payer the therapy client
Give the payer access to clinical or billing records
Permit the payer to direct treatment
Authorize disclosure of confidential information

Information shared for payment purposes will be limited according to applicable privacy requirements and any valid client authorization.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through an independent electronic payment processor. The payer may be required to provide their name, email address, billing information, and payment details directly to that processor.

Tony Hunt Counseling & Consulting, PLLC does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the payment system and is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, internet disruptions, or payment-processing systems.

Failed, Declined, and Disputed Payments

A declined, reversed, returned, or disputed payment does not eliminate the client’s financial responsibility for services already provided.

The practice may contact the client to obtain an alternate payment method or resolve an outstanding balance.

Clients should contact the practice before initiating a payment dispute so that suspected duplicate charges or billing errors can be reviewed.

Sliding-Scale Agreements

Sliding-scale rates are limited, are not guaranteed, and may be reviewed periodically.

The fee confirmed in the client’s signed financial agreement or other written agreement controls. A lower-priced payment link does not permanently change the client’s regular fee.

Changes to These Terms

Tony Hunt Counseling & Consulting, PLLC may update these payment terms when fees, services, laws, insurance requirements, or business practices change.
